8-Layer Honey Cake Recipe (Medovik)


 
This honey cake is so soft and fantastic. The honey baked into the cake layers pairs perfectly with the simple sour cream frosting.

Ingredients

Cake Layers Ingredients:



  • 4 Tbsp honey (1/4 cup)

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 large eggs beaten with a fork

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour I used unbleached, organic


 
 

Sour Cream Frosting Ingredients:



  • 32 oz sour cream

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream


 
 

For the topping:



  • 1/2 lb strawberries optional

This Baked Turkey Meatballs with Spinach recipe is healthy, full of flavor, and they’re baked in the oven so you won’t have to stand at the stove frying them.
